Our New Website Is Live, and We Couldn't Be Happier With It

If you've visited our site recently, you'll notice things look a little different. After months of planning, we've officially launched a full redesign of www.districtscholars.com, built in partnership with Blue Canary Web Design, and we're thrilled with how it turned out.

Why we redesigned

Our old site had served us well, but it was starting to show its age. Pages loaded slowly, the layout didn't translate well to phones, and it was becoming harder to keep our blog and resources organized as we published more content. We wanted a site that actually reflected the quality of the tutoring we provide, not one that made families dig around to find basic information.

We also wanted a site parents and students could actually use on the go. A lot of our families are searching for a tutor at 10pm on a phone between homework and bedtime, and the old site just wasn't built for that.

Working with Blue Canary Web Design

From our first call with the Blue Canary team, it was clear they understood exactly what we needed. They took the time to learn about our tutoring philosophy, our student demographics, and what actually matters to a parent choosing a test prep program, and then built a site around that instead of handing us a generic template.

The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Clear timelines, regular check-ins, and a team that was genuinely responsive whenever we had questions or wanted to tweak something. A website redesign can easily turn into a drawn-out headache, and Blue Canary made it the opposite of that.

What's new

A few of the improvements we're most excited about:

• A cleaner, faster homepage that gets visitors to what they need in a couple of clicks, whether that's booking a consultation or browsing our blog
• A fully responsive design that looks and works great on phones, tablets, and desktops
• A reorganized blog that makes it easy to find posts by subject, whether you're looking for SAT math help or grammar tips
• Faster load times across the board, which matters both for visitors and for how easily people can find us through search
• A simpler path to contact us, so families can reach out without hunting for a phone number buried in a footer

The result

Our new site finally looks and feels like District Scholars. It's fast, it's easy to navigate, and it actually shows what we do instead of just telling people about it. We've heard great feedback from current families already, and we're excited for new visitors to get the same first impression.
